Social Media Analyst

We are looking for an ambitious individual to join our marketing team as a Social Media Analyst.  You will be responsible for creating and maintaining our company’s presence on social media sites, which include Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and other relevant platforms.  As a Social Media Analyst, you will analyze results, create new programs, gain a deep understanding of our products, and promote the WANdisco website and products through social media, email campaigns, etc.  

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage the company’s social media channels, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other relevant platforms
  • Engage in social media presence creation on new and emerging social media platforms
  • Use your creativity and marketing skills to help generate brand awareness, sales and promote customer service through the social media networks
  • Work with marketing team members to coordinate ad campaigns with social media strategy
  • Propose new ideas and concepts for social media content
  • Manage social media communications
  • Study trends in social media, research popular social media platforms, study emerging social media tools and observe how often those platforms and tools are used
  • Create weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on social media activities.  Determine effectiveness of overall strategies and campaigns
  • Coordinate product Webinars

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
  • 3 years experience in social media marketing with demonstrated successes
  • Passion for social media and internet marketing industries
  • Outstanding ability to think creatively, and identify and resolve problems
  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere
  • Ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts and points
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
